Grants

Last class I brought up that you could try to write grants for different technology or supplies for the classroom. Here are a few links, I will also try to find the information that Ann Panella gave us. She is in charge of writing grants for the warner school so shes a great resource! http://sites.target.com/site/en/corporate/page.jsp?contentId=PRD03-001818 www.nsta.org/pd/tapestry/ http://www.grantsalert.com/gsft.cfm?action=view&gsft=135 http://teachersnetwork.org/grants/

Those are some great resources. I wonder if there are sites to help you in writing the grant. For instance, I had a client write a tax/employment grat to cover training for his employees and the Rochester Works program helped him write the whole thing.

this site has a litany of grants, including education grants. it does take a long time to sift through all of this information. have fun though

Thanks for the links. I am thinking of designing a living env/earth science research project on a local stream. Living Env kids would study the life in and around the stream and the earth sci kids would study the water, rocks, formation etc. Thanks again!!
